ESAB ROGUE ES 180i WITH ELECTRODE HOLDER AND GROUND CABLE INCLUDED

ESAB ROGUE 180i single-phase inverter welder for use on domestic current (230 Volts 50/60 Hz). Excellent for welding rutile, basic, stainless steel, nickel, bronze electrodes, etc., up to an electrode diameter of 4.0 mm.

Robust and durable welder, dedicated to professional welders and is built to withstand impact after impact, in the workshop or in the field thanks also to the practical shoulder strap. ROGUE is durable and resistant to the elements, with an IP23S classification for use in harsh outdoor applications.
ROGUE ES 180i delivers cutting-edge welding performance and maximum reliability thanks to the latest generation high-performance electronics and digital control, ensuring a precise and constant arc and the microprocessor inside precisely controls all functions and provides best-in-class welding performance, throughout the machine's entire amperage range.

Thanks to the control panel it is possible to easily set the amperage required for the job and choose the desired welding method: MMA electrode or TIG Lift.

Arc Force
The arc force function determines the current changes as the arc length changes during welding. Use a low arc force value to obtain a stable arc with fewer drops and a high value to obtain a hot arc with greater digging power.
Arc force applies to MMA welding only.

Hot start
The Hot start function temporarily increases the current at the beginning of welding.
Use this function to reduce the risk of insufficient fusion and electrode sticking and rubbing. The Hot start function applies to MMA welding only.

Live TIG start
This generator performs Live TIG-start.
The tungsten electrode is held against the workpiece. When removed from the workpiece, the arc is struck at a low current level.

Voltage Reducing Device (VRD)
The VRD function ensures that the open circuit voltage does not exceed 35 V when no welding is being performed. Its activation is indicated by the VRD indicator on the panel lighting up. To activate this function, contact an authorised ESAB service technician.

Thermal protection
The generator includes a thermal protection against overheating. In case of overheating, welding stops, the overheat indicator on the panel lights up and an error message appears on the display. The protection is automatically reset when the temperature drops sufficiently.

The Rogue ES 180i unit is designed and tested to meet the standards
international and European EN60974-1 and EN60974-10. Upon completion of any service or repair work, it is the responsibility of the personnel carrying out the work to ensure that the product complies with the requirements of the above standards.
